Caidin has authored or coauthored well over 50 books, mostly about aircraft, rockets, and space flight. Now, for some reason, he has concocted a batch of off-the-wall whoppers that have little relationship to anything in the real world--and passes them off as true. He tells of the woman whose "body hurls out an electrical charge of 80,000 volts" and wrecks nearby computers. He has the story of the "electromagnetic 'cold explosion' " in the Pacific, the size of Indiana, for which "scientists don't have the answer." He trots out "Bigfoot," who can be shot repeatedly by high-powered rifles and disappears without a trace. And he has the usual assortment of dowsers, poltergeists, flying saucers, and near-death sufferers, so beloved by a certain type of reader. The book has all the charm of the National Enquirer , but without the credibility.

HARD-TO-FIND BOOK WITH A HARD TO FIND SUBJECT.

After Finding a copy of this book at a bargain book store, I realized that Mr. Caidin was trying to make a point that some things we call Supernatural are only natural subjects if viewed from different points of "view" and looked at commonly, as if what we view as supernatural has happened everyday. Sometimes he makes his point in prescribing supernatural happenings as being normal,but disappointingly,He misses the mark most of the time. It seems as if he read another book on supernatural happenings and he was trying to convince somebody (himself?)that these are normal happenings of nature. As much as we would like to believe that, This book will only convince someone that already agrees that the supernatural is really a natural occurrance we may have overlooked (like Myself).
