As a professional counselor, I was interested in specific ideas on helping parents & children of divorce. This book had some very concrete ideas. It is aimed at parents, written in 'plain-speak'. There's nothing new or eath-shaking here, but it is a pretty all-inclusive little book for parents interested in helping their children deal with the issue of divorce.

Excellent and practical book.

This book was written to disseminate information derived from three decades of behavioral research into the effects of divorce on children. It has a format of short chapters that make it easy to read and apply as needed. The book is inexpensive, useful, and accurate. I am a clinical psychologist, and in my practice, I recommend this book to all my patients who are parents struggling with divorce.
