You will not be dissapointed!

I just finished reading this book and I am very satisfied. This book would be of great help in any classroom of psychology. It is easy to read and explains everything that goes on in a therapy session (and how difficult it can be). Therapy sounds great to me now.

Dr. Gaylin writes with honest passion of his life's work.
By John R. Morella, Sr.
As a retired psychologist, and as I read Dr. Gaylin's book, I took pride in the manner that he depicted the mental health provider's role, and the difficult roles for both the therapist and the patient. He does so with such honesty, unpretentiousness and candor. The book is instructive, entertaining, and will help the layperson to understand the complexties of the human psyche. I applaud his straight forward method in teaching the fundamentals of psychotherapy from the psychodynamic orientation. John R. Morella, Ph.D., author of "A Guide for Effective Psychotherapy

This book will answer your questions
By A Customer
This book was, in on word, great. I am a faithful reader of psycology and psychiatry books and this was one of the best I have read. It was very informative and shed a great deal of light on a very sensitive subject. Psychotherapy is a gentle process and can become overwhelming to some people at times. During those times, it is good to know there are books out there like this one. It will give you hope. Isn't that what we all search for?
